Reverend Dr. William L. “Bill” Lee, retired pastor of Roanoke’s Loudon Avenue Christian Church, in partnership with Carilion Clinic and the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine hosted a half-day conference for African American pastors, mentors, and community leaders for fellowship and learning. Voice was given to the mental and spiritual challenges of leading others out of the wilderness of COVID. Guests learned that communities are co-creating our future together and that there are many resources available for support, encouragement, learning, and advancement.
