Education partners play a critical role in connecting classroom learning with real-world healthcare careers. By expanding access to industry-recognized training, certifications, dual enrollment opportunities, and degree programs, they help students develop the skills needed to enter Hampton Roads’ growing healthcare workforce. The Hampton Roads Partnership for Health Science Careers is seeking to connect with K-12 school divisions, private schools, homeschools, community colleges, universities, and training providers across GO Virginia Region 5. If your organization supports students interested in healthcare careers, we invite you to connect with us and help strengthen healthcare career pathways throughout our region.
Claude Moore Foundation Investment in Healthcare Education

The Claude Moore Scholars Program helps prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals by supporting healthcare education programs in Virginia schools. Through grant funding and strategic partnerships, the program expands student access to healthcare career exploration, industry-recognized credentials, dual enrollment opportunities, and pathways into high-demand healthcare occupations. These programs help students gain valuable skills while supporting the workforce needs of Hampton Roads and communities across the Commonwealth.
