The Hampton Roads Partnership for Health Sciences (HRP4HS) is a regional coalition of educators, healthcare employers, workforce development organizations, and community partners working together to strengthen healthcare career pathways and address workforce needs throughout Hampton Roads.
Established in 2025, the partnership supports collaboration between education, healthcare, and industry to increase awareness of healthcare careers, strengthen talent pathways, and build a sustainable workforce prepared to meet the evolving needs of our communities.
Lead Organization

The Hampton Roads Workforce Council serves as the lead organization for the Hampton Roads Partnership for Health Science Careers.
As the regional workforce development board for Hampton Roads, the Workforce Council works closely with employers, educators, economic development organizations, and community partners to strengthen the workforce pipeline and connect individuals with meaningful career opportunities. Through its leadership of HRP4HS, the Workforce Council helps coordinate regional partnerships, support workforce initiatives, and advance healthcare career development efforts throughout GO Virginia Region 5.
